"Great value and location"

My family and I stayed at Fleshmarket Close over Christmas and loved the flat. The location could not have been better – we were literally right on top of the Royal Mile. The flat was beautiful and well kept, and it comfortably slept the three of us. It was a steal for the price. Jon was great – he met us right when we got in from the airport and helped carry our giant bags up the stairs. I highly recommend this flat and company!

Best location you could ask for, on the royal mile. clean,smart, tidy rooms.Both Julie and Jon were Very helpful and accommodating. Available through a text if we needed anything ( we weren't sure where to get a taxi from). Generally a great place to stay and i would stay there again if visiting Edinburgh.

We stayed in May and despite the weather that weekedn the apartment was great for us. Location is key when your in a city for just a couple of days and this certainly was in a central location!

We stayed at the Fleshmarket Close apartment for a weekend in May, and it was the best place I have stayed in Edinburgh. The name instantly paints a vivid picture of Edinburgh's grueseome history, of which we were excited to discover and we found we were right in the middle of where it all took place. Right off the Royal Mile, we were so close to all the major sights and tours. The apartment is lovely, homely, clean and has everything you need to hand. So convenient and cosy, wish we could have stayed longer!

Me and my family stayed at Fleshmarket close apartment on the 07.-11 of July 2011. Despite of the bad weather (rained cats and dogs) the vacation was greate and also the apartment. It looks exactly like on the pictures and best location in Edingburg.

The apartment was the best idea ever, very comfortable and homey, felt at home, and the location of the apartment was perfect, on the royal mile, where everything you want is in walking distance, i.e. the train station is 5mins away from the apartment...Jon was very welcoming and showed us around our apartment and told us that if we needed to know anything or need any help. finding things around edinburgh we could jus shoot him a txt anytime, kool guy...overalll i would have to say that staying here was the best decision i made and will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We stayed in two of the InnerCity lets, end of July 2011. Both were perfect. Fleshmarket Close can't possibly be in a better location, in the middle of Old Town; the castle being 2 minutes walking up the road. Jon was cheerful and helpful (even carrying some of our heavy luggage). We recommand heartfully the apartment and will probably be back one day. 10/10.
P.-S. While in Edinburgh, go to The Royal Mile Pub nearby (and to the Oxford Pub in New Town).

I stayed here with my brother last week and I have to say this is a great little apartment.. perfect for us. We were only 2 lads but you could have 2 couples... the Aero bed does take up the lounge space but really if your looking for a base right in the heart of all the action you will not spend much time in the apartment.

Nous sommes restés au Fleshmarket Close à la fin de juillet 2011.
On ne peut rêver d'un meilleur endroit.
C'est au coeur de Old Town, à quelques pas du château.
Jon, le proprio est serviable et sympathique.
Je recommande chaleureusement l'appartement. C'est un peu plus cher, mais on économise en taxi et en autobus.
Nous y serons de retour un jour, c'est certain.

Nice place for family of four to stay.The apartment is looking good clean and tidy.Everything you need in the kitchen is all provided...Location is perfect too,just a few minutes walk and you will find historic building within the city.Thanks to Jon,very friendly and helpful to his customers.

Our first time in Edinbourgh we were pleased to find innerCityLets-Royal Mile. We were visiting in Shetland and our Host gave us the Web Site. We were so pleased with the location to everything we wanted to visit. The Flat was excellent for us four and very clean and roomy. Alot of stairs to walk up for the Mom, but good exercise. Everyone in Edinbourgh is in such good shape for all the walking up hill everyone has to do. Thanks for everything and we will recommend innerCityLets.com to our friends in the US.

I stayed in the Fleshmarket Close flat over a weekend - it was perfectly located for the train station and both old and new towns, and fantastic to have so much space for the same price as a hotel room. I'd definitely stay again.

We couldn't have asked for more with this accommodation. The owner was great leading up to us arriving as we didn't arrive into Edinburgh until midnight and it was still no problem for him to come meet us and make sure we were all settled in.
We stayed in Edinburgh over new years eve and this was the perfect location for the street party and other activities in Edinburgh over the few days we were there.
Would definately recommend this place to others.

A brilliant weekend in Edinburgh. Staying in the fab appartment in Fleshmarket Close on the Royal Mile was brilliant for us as a family with kids. It was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Will definitely use Inner city Lets again and will recommend our appartment :)

My husband and I stayed at Fleshmarket Close at the end of April 12. We had a wonderful time there as the apartment is right on the Royal Mile so all the major attractions are right on your doorstep. The apartment has all the mod cons you could need and is very clean and well maintained. Jon met us on arrival and after helping us with our luggage showed us around the apartment and gave advice on places to visit in Edinburgh. We had such a great time we are heading back for another break in September!

Really great accommodation, so central on the Royal Mile, everything you needed in the room.
Great location, right on the Royal Mile, lots of places to eat & drink right nearby. Clean, spacious and very well equiped, everything you needed. Jon was very helpful, and rang us whilst still on the train to arrange collecting keys etc. Would definitely stay here again (Fleshmarket Close) Also was only 2 mins from the train station.

Está situado en el centro histórico de la ciudad, un viejo edificio con la entrada por un callejón (cerrado). Pero el interior es todo lo contrario. Piso renovado, muy amplio y muy espacioso. Una grande habitación, un salón acogedor, y una cocina completa (lavavajilla, lavadora, tostador, cocina, horno, microondas, cafetera). Habíamos dicho que teníamos un bebé, y estaba una cuna instalada en la habitación. Vista sobre una de las calles principales. Una maravilla este apartamento.

Great apartment, clean and comfy, on a fantastic location. A bit noisy in the weekend at the street side, but that was fine with the window closed. Service of the ower was very good. I would go there again.

Central location - great for everything Edinburgh has to offer--3 flights of stairs could be problematic for some people -- soundproofing if sleeping on Aerobed in the living area was a bit noisy at night---it was a Saturday after all--We had a great time though and found the relaxed and friendly welcome from Jon helped us settle quickly--I would thoroughly recommend these apartments and will most likely stay again

I love Inner City Lets, because of the service, the location of the flats and the flats themselves.
I particularly love Fleshmarket Close with its great location on the Royal Mile. It has everything one needs. It feels like a home away from home. It is just so much nicer than staying in a hotel!
And it is always so nice to have the friendly and helpful greeting from Jon Anderson or his staff. And also to know that he is always to hand if something comes up.
I highly recommend Inner City Lets.

Great apartment, very well equipped and rooms larger than they appear on the website. Bathroom very small, especially if there are 4 of you staying, but wonderfully comfy beds and Jon was very helpful. The location is quite perfect - and handy for the open top jump on/jump off bus tours too. Great places to eat and drink within a few yards.

This is now our third time staying in Fleshmarket Close with Innercity Lets. And once again it did not disappoint. This time we took our niece with us so the areobed came in handy. Very comfy. This is a great apartment to stay in not only for the location and all the great attractions on your door step but for the apartment itself. A very comfortable and well appointed place with all mod cons in the kitchen. Jon, as usual was there to welcome us and was very accommodating as our flight got in slightly earlier than expected. We would definitely recommend to all travellers far and wide. Cant wait for our next trip!!

We were provided with a travel cot, and the apartment was fully furnished to meet all our needs. Jon was extremely helpful and we would certainly look to stay here again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

I stayed for two nights in this apartment with my parents and loved it. Would definitly think about staying here again.
Great location and the airbed is amazing!! Loads of pubs and restaurants around and good central location for sightseeing.
The only thing I would flag up to be aware of is the hill and stairs to get to it. We parked in the train station car park and it was hard work. I wouldn't let it put you off but be prepared.

We stayed in the apartment for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The apartment is located right at the heart of the royal mile and most guided tours start within two walking minutes from the flat. It's only about 7 walking minutes from the train station. There are several great restaurants and bars just down the road, too.
The kitchen is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Couldn't recommend it more!
