Young Street North Lane is a fantastic location just off Edinburgh’s prestigious Charlotte Square and two or three minutes’ walk from the city’s main shopping streets, George Street and Princes Street. There are numerous bars and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk while major tourist attractions such as Edinburgh Castle are only a short stroll away.

The Apartment

This beautifully presented 2 bedroom first floor mews apartment with integral garage is located just off Charlotte Square on a cobbled lane in the very heart of the city. Despite its central location it is extremely quiet. It also has a small balcony. This is an ideal base and makes the perfect Edinburgh holiday apartment in Scotland's capital city.


The apartment has a spacious lounge/kitchen/dining area. The lounge has two large sofas, an oak coffee table and a 32" flat screen TV. A soundbar is linked to the TV and also has a Bluetooth link for playing music from Bluetooth devices. There is also a DVD player.

There is free wifi while the TV has BT Player and BT YouView giving all Freeview channels, BT Sport, AMC channel, UK TV Play and access to various subscription channels such as Netflix and TV Now.
The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and food mixer. The dining area has a dining table for up to six adults. The lighting system can highlight or dim the lighting in each area at the touch of a button.

Bedroom 1

Bedroom 1 is located at the end of the apartment and has a large wardrobe and chest of drawers and a kingsize bed. There is also a hairdryer.

En-suite The en suite to bedroom 1 has a separate shower and bath, sink, toilet and a large mirror.

Bedroom 2

Bedroom 2 is located between bedroom 1 and the lounge. It has a standard double bed and a large wardrobe and chest of drawers.


The main bathroom has a bath with a shower, sink, toilet and large mirror.

Utility Room

The utility room is located opposite bedroom 2 and contains a fridge/freezer and washing machine as well as the central heating boiler and hot water tank.

Integral Garage

There is a single garage under the apartment. The garage door is operated by a remote control device and there is an adjoining door to the apartment. The garage measures 5.66m x 2.74m. The entrance measures 2.27m and entry requires care with larger cars.


The balcony is accessed via the lounge. There are two camping chairs available for sitting out on the balcony.

Fantastic flat in a brilliant location! Excellent facilities, everything you would need for a stay in the city. Helpful used guide to equipment. Beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Big plus that there is a parking space. We had a great weekend here though unfortunately not the rugby result we wanted.

"Better than any hotel."

3 night stay here was better than any 4/5 star hotel and we consider now hotels a thing of the past. Location could not be better, free parking is a blessing. Every room in the apartment is fabulous, and near to all the top bars and restaurants situated around George Street. A must try. Mike & Lynn
